Nate and Ashley's paths had crossed numerous times through out the years, but they never actually talked.

It was Summer of 2014 during Les Miserable (Community Theater Play) when they finally did start talking.

Ashley was thinking I think I could actually date him.

And Nate was thinking that she was a pretty great lady;)

They started dating and struggled through a long distance relationship while Ashley was in MN and Nate in RI.

Their relationship continued to grow and develop for three years, and Ashley was getting impatient. Like was he ever gonna propose?

Yes, he was.

On August 6, 2017, Nate got up in front of friends, family, and strangers at the Ten Mile Lake Resort Variety Show and sang Faithfully by Journey. (Our Song) Shaking and almost unable to finish the song Nate pulled Ashley up to the front of the audience and got down on one knee.

Thankfully, she had no idea it was coming.

Ashley didn't think anything of it when he asked her to come to the show. They had been talking about the acts for weeks at the steakhouse. No way was she going to miss it!

Nate got up to sing, and once he said what he was singing, she knew. This was it. Finally!

She was shaking so bad by the time he pulled her up to the front at the end of the song. In disbelief she nodded.

Now they are living in Florida, planning for an amazing day in August of 2018.
